Booking and survey arrangements were quick and went to plan and I was provided with the survey, both an email copy and copy received in post withing the time frames specified. I asked if the surveyor could phone me to talk me through the survey as some issues had been found. Mr Scott Young phoned me back the same day and answered all my questions I feel he have me good, genuine and experienced advice and explained things in simple terms. They were very professional all the way through the process, from booking the appointment, to the final survey report we received by 1st class post within 3 days of the survey . Mary even arranged the date and time of the survey with the vendor, informing us by email it had been booked. The report was very detailed and easy to read and understand,Mr Young had also taken on board all our specific enquiries regarding future improvements we would like to do and gave very relevant helpful advice in the report regarding this . We asked by email if we could ask further questions on some issues raised in the report and again Mr Young's response was written in simple terms with further advice for us to consider before embarking on renovation work, his advice could save us thousands of pounds. The survey pointed out that a conversion which had been approved by the local council Building Dept was not fit for the purpose it was marketed as. That saved me from buying a house that would not have met my needs. £500 well spent.

Mr Young was very professional and particularly knowledgeable about the area, as I've not lived in Wales before and coming from England I know there are different things to consider. He was able to alert me to why my property is a good investment and he pointed to the specifics that needed to be monitored in the future and an estimated cost that I might have to consider but he was clear it was an estimated cost, which could rise or fall. The report was detailed, which he followed up with a call that was so assuring and nice to know that I was not being hurried during the call. The service from beginning to end was fantastic. He compiled a well-written and easy to understand document, outlining the principal areas of concern for the property and their potential remedies. I was able to follow up with Scott by phone, where he elaborated more on his report and gave practical and impartial advice. In this case, Scott saved us from purchasing a property with a number of series and ongoing maintenance issues, including a rodent infestation in the loft. We are so grateful to Scott for spotting signs of subtle problems that would have costed us dearly to remedy.
